Ikazawa Campsite

The Ikazawa Campgrounds are in the perfect outdoor environment at the base of Mt. Makihata, one of Japan's 100 Famous Mountains. The campgrounds feature auto-camp sites, a foresty training activity center, barbecuing area, fishing hole, athletics field and more! There are also comfortably furnished bungalows and free campsites available for reservation as well.

What's more, the trailhead to the Ura-Makihata Ravine hiking course is only a short distance from the campgrounds. There are a number of waterfalls and breathtaking views along this thrilling hiking trail, and it is an especially popular destination for viewing autumn leaves.
