Harmony in a Snow Country Sake Brewery
Founded in 1717, this brewery has roughly 300 years of history representing the sake brewing industry in Niigata. They conduct a sake brewing process that capitalizes on the pure spring water and bounties of the natural environment. Their sake is best known for its full-bodied, refreshing taste known as "tanrei umakuchi" in Japanese.
Today the brewery employs use of a yukimuro snow cellar to refrigerate its products, and their brewery is principled on being brewers, sellers, and drinkers of refined Niigata sake.
