The Minamiuonuma Roadside Station is a meeting place and information center that has gathered local resources tied to the Snow Country region. The complex is made up of 3 facilities, the Imaizumi Memorial Hall, Shiki Ajiwaikan Farmer's Market, and the outdoor park area. It aims to provide visitors with a sense of the local food culture, creative arts, history, and nature of Minamiuonuma.
The shelves of Shiki Ajiwaikan are fully stocked with fresh local produce and premium Koshihikari rice, and there are occassional seasonal events in the park area too.
The Minamiuonuma City Tourist Association is on the 1st floor of the Imaizumi Memorial Hall and can provide visitors with the details on all must-see destinations and events in the area.
