Solano Terrace is a farm facility situated in Nishikan-ku, Niigata City, which is steeped in ancient agricultural traditions. Within the confines lies a marché where you can purchase an array of seasonal local vegetables, fruits, and, of course, rice. There is also a café that serves delectable dishes using seasonal, local vegetables selected by a vegetable sommelier. But that's not all. At the takeout corner, you can grab made-to-order “onigiri" (rice balls) with a wonderfully fluffy texture and soft-serve ice cream made with fruits cultivated within the park.

One of Solano Terrace's most beloved activities is strawberry picking, available from March to June every year. Dive into the flavors of "Echigo-hime," an original Niigata Prefecture brand. Revel in the delightful aroma and savor the sweet, succulent flesh of these strawberries.
