Nagaoka Fireworks Museum is a completely new type of next-generation roadside station that provides a diverse array of services to its users. It functions as a place of rest and recuperation for users, a place that shows the wonder of Nagaoka and as a hub of information on the local area.

The biggest attraction of the museum is the Fireworks Theater (2F), a dome-shaped theatre where visitors can experience the Nagaoka Fireworks held each year on August 2 and 3. Enjoy the marvelous spectacle of this wonderful fireworks event.

The exhibition room (1F) is free for anyone to enter. The 15-meter wide and 6-meter high screen stands in the center, where visitors can enjoy fireworks games etc., while an entire wall describes the history and wonder of Nagaoka Fireworks. Visitors can look, learn, and enjoy the displays, which include life-size firework shells and casings.

Directions	●JR: From JR Nagaoka Station Ote exit, take a bus or taxi. Approximately 20 minutes ●Bus: Take the bus bound for Michi-no-Eki Nagaoka Hanabi-Kan from Ote exit Platform 2, Nagaoka Station. Get off at the last stop (only operates on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays) ●Car: Go straight on National Route 8 for three minutes from the Nagaoka Interchange on the Kan-Etsu Expressway.
