Uonono Sato is a vibrant roadside attraction and gourmet hub in Minami Uonuma
Uono no Sato is the largest souvenir marketplace in the Uonuma area, featuring an array of specialty merchandise from the Snow Country region and across Niigata, including premium Minamiuonuma Koshihikari rice and refined local sakes. There is also a large restaurant inside the marketplace which can accommodate up to 400 guests.
Adjacent to Uono no Sato is the Uonuma Sweets Garden Natura, where freshly made confections like baumkuchen and cookies can be enjoyed with coffee or tea, or taken with you as a souvenir.
