Shimmering early summer - a banquet of ajisai flowers
A park famous for its approximately 30,000 hydrangea blooms, with different types including French hydrangeas.
From the entrance to the mountain, climbing the gentle trail through the woods for about 40 minutes, some 30,000 ajisai flowers bloom atop the mountain, which affords a panorama of the Echigo plain. Peak viewing season is mid-June through July.
This is the season of the Hydrangea festival, attracting large crowds. (Not held this year)
