Rokumangiyama (Mount Rokumangi)

Mount Rokumangi is a scenic peak in Minami Uonuma
One of the 4 main dogtooth violet fields in Minamiuonuma City, Mt. Rokumangi is an excellent place for a short hike to appreciate the natural scenery. The hiking trail on this 321m peak takes about 1 hour to complete and there are numerous large patches of these vibrant purple wildflowers along the trail.
The dogtooth violets begin to bloom in early to mid-April.
