Hakkai Shrine

Hakkai Shrine is a sacred and historic sanctuary at the base of Mount Hakkai in Minami Uonuma
There is a long history of people paying worship to the sacred peak Mt. Hakkai.
Originally this shrine was only a natural stone that had been enshrined by locals,
and it is said that the cedar trees which grew around the shrine came to be worshipped as sacred trees as well.
